Elizabeth & Fred Coates have been involved in the areas of craft & collectables for at least the last 20 years, prior to which Fred had had a long-standing interest in antiques
& collectables.
He has spoken at the Alexander Library, inter alia, on the atribution of Ancient English porcelain, & has actually made a 24% lead crystal paperweight under the experienced eye of a specialist in the area.
Elizabeth has been involved in beading for 20 years, & also the setting of crystals & cabochons in the jewellery she & her team design.
Some of the foremost designers in the team with her are Jeannette Seneque and Simon Ladbrook, who have enriched the design mix & explored new colour combinations.
